Have just been into town to collect mail etc. There are about 150 of these all over town and it makes Gulgong very retro looking.

Its the Austin Seven car Clubs annual rally. Seems appropriate to show the photo here. Tiny little buggers theses cars.

camera phone so excuse the quality

If Austin se7ens are minis, that makes them a Mk 0.25 car.

I have loved Austin 7's since before I could walk. Specifically the race variety.

Gotta love a race car that has a supercharger that is physically the same size as the engine! 8)

Welll the 150 in town was rather inspiring - lots of people in period dress and videoing the going ons.

We are a 1870's gold mining town that went to sleep in 1879 and woke up again in 1979 - after the heritage orders had been slapped down.

In the pubs, we call the tourists "terrorists" and in the open we called them "cleanshoes" Either way, they are instantly identiful

*lol* basically they look as though they had a shower this morning - must have brought their own water *lol*

that would be a bit cool with some mags and a new 4cyl engine conversion, maybe sr20 or something... trim job, chop and a channel. kind of like hot rodding for the little people

Ahhh !!!
The little people - a wonderful group - mostly from Tipperary and the like

Fond of a wee drop of whiskey - note the "E" in the spelling.

My own heritage.
