Hi guys, My break light is not working this morning and get caught by a police. The light globe is fine and I just had a break switch replaced. Can anyone tell me what the problem shout it be from? Many thanks |

maybe try and swap the brake globe upside down so that it is facing the other way.. my m8 had the same problem and we just did that and it worked.. good luck |

check to see if your getting 12v to the globe when you push the brake pedal. Do you have a pedal switch or a hydrolic switch?? check that the wires are still on the switch when you changed it. |

Check ya getting power with a multimeter, as Brad said. It could be wiring. More than likely the termination on either end has gone sour rather than the wire itself., so check them. |

Most common problem , other than fuse, is that the terminals need cleaning. Take the globes out and run over there connecting points with some light sandpaper, see if that does the trick! Steve. |
