Post subject:  Steering wheel re-covering

Hey all, I've got an old MotaLita steering wheel in mine, and the vinyl that got used last time is starting to unstitch. Anybody know where I can take it (prefer in Sydney) to get properly redone, in leather? :?

DR,
I think any motor trimmer will be able to do it. But for the cost of it getting it redone you can get the new (cheap crap) wheels.

You can pick up leather from a craft shop and do it yourself if you are that way inclined!

Yeah I've got one (SAAS pretend wood) but this thing is a great wheel. Looks just like an unsigned `John Cooper' one. Worth fixing. 8)

i got a quote to do mine (in yellow leather to match the rumble bee) and it was $350 he said because it has to be hand stitched and the labour is what u pay for. there might be some machine that can do it for cheaper in syd tho.
