I saw this morris shell (item 170100741807) on Ebay and went to see it today. The owner wasn't there but house-mate let me see the car. It was really good and heaps better than the shell I have at the 'mini specialist'.

I had to go and collect the family from a birthday party and by the time I got home, the car was sold! (one hour after I saw the car) It went for about $300 less than I was willing to pay.

ROOT!!!

My shell will cost far more than that one by the time it is fixed. My 'mini specialist' has had the shell since the end of January and not touched it (even though he has a $2,500 deposit ) so I thought I had an opportunity to swap over.

I thought the owner would let the ebay auction run until the posted end time of 18/4/07 but he took a deposit and that was it.

I snoozed, so I lost (loozed ?)

BUGGAR!!

Anyone else in SEQ have a mint roundy shell they want to part with. Cash waiting. (no de-seamed ones)

He probably did that to avoid paying ebay's commission.

Some people (usually non-enthusiasts and non-ausmini-ers) simply dont realise that people are willing to spend more money on some things.
