Tonight...ladies and gentlemen....I am off to look at a 1 owner Clubman GT :mrgreen:

I really didn't want to buy ANY more Minis.....and had hoped that my own GT resto would be my last Mini.

However......I was at a BBQ a month ago and was chewin the fat with some guys I didn't know. Minis came up in convo and this guy said he knew somwone with a Mini for sale. He said it was a one owner job and the owner was really keen to get rid of it. I gave him my number to pass onto the owner. There was no mention of it being a GT at this stage.

Today I got a call from the said owner. I was not very interested to be honest...until I heard the magic words... "Oh and it's a Clubman GT.....and we have owned it from new" :o

The price is definitely right.....so I am off to take a look at it :D

Sooooooo......I will possibly be selling my beloved 'Pops Jnr', and will have a beautiful daily Clubman GT to drive. I shall have more to tell later today :wink:

There was a period when i was being offered minis and mini bits all the time. It was shortly after I started driving mine around and people would come up and say "there one in graddad's shed you can have for spares". I aquired five or six in a very short time.

Now other people have realised their worth and the supply has dried up. But never was there a Cooper (S or other) or a GT.

I am waiting for the pile of 2 door LC and LJ top turn up. I have spread the word I want one.
