I was given 4 new Bosch WR9LCX plugs with me new GT. Is that the right code? That's all i see on them. I have never heard of them. Generally what would their application be? |

They're ford plugs. That's the code for the ones in the XF. I think they might be used in later model Falcons too... Dunno if they'd fit a Mini, but I'd doubt it ![]() |

I run Bosch W6DC in the 1360. No problems. I stopped buying NGK after I got two duds. ![]() |

![]() Well I fitted them and took it for a fang. Doesn't miss a beat and has so much grunt! The code I mentioned was stamped into the metal part of the plug. On the ceramic part is R6 582 |

I was checking the suitability of different manufacturers plugs recently and going on the Bosch codes, the WR9LCX will certainly fit a Mini but whether it is long term suitable I wouldn't know. This is what the code interprets as. W = 14mm thread R = runs with a suppression resistor 9 = heat range (warm to hot) L = 19mm reach C = single copper anode X = factory preset gap of 0.44" |
