Yeah , get it hot and soft , either leave it out on a really hot day or the bucket of hot water . When you look at it in the roll , you want to put it on the reverse to the curve , start at the front (or back , doesn't matter) and bend the strip against the curve it was in the roll over the guard edge then when you come to the tighter curve where the guard curve meets the 1/4 panels the strip will go on with the curve the way it was in the roll . Otherwise it kinks when you try and curve it that tight . Normally they are pop rivetted on at each end and some times either side of the guards , it's up to you whether you want to try and glue it on .
