Bought a few books on the weekend and included was the "passport to service and drivers handbook" for a mini van YJBAV2R with body number 4880 , engine number is an 850 but says it was sold new on the 17.11.1967 in Goulburn NSW . Anyone own this van and want the handbook ? Otherwise it's staying in my collection .

If it makes it any easier the NSW rego was ERD.16* (last number with-held) .

No - it doesn't because the van had not been registered for some years although its obviously a country car by the apparent lack of rust.

From what I can work out there was a Mini Van with a 998 and a Mini Van with an 850, sort of a similar thing to the Deluxe and the Mini-Minor. The engine number should be 8AMUH????

There were two versions of vans with 850's , YJBAV2R was one of them , it's a Australian built 850 engine (8Y/U/H) but the engine number has only 4 digits meaning it should have been around 1963 , not 1967 . ALso I didn't think they were still making 850's in 1967 ...

Well it may not be number 4880 but it's 4146cc. Haha that's the 253 V8 van on ebay, look at the big rear wheels.
