I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to "the dark side"

But the Clubbies are starting to grow on me!

Saw one at the weekend with a three dial dash, speedo went to 200Kph and tach was 6000 redline?

What would that dash set up be from? :?

Also, when did the Hydro on Clubbies stop? 71 to 73? 8)

Graham,
The dash's from a Clubman S have a 5500 redline and I think a 160kmh top speed. I think that dash is from an LS or a GT(not 100%). My '73 clubbie had hydro, not sure when they stopped.
Steve.

Thanks Steve, that's the reason for my question, I knew standard S's etc were 5500, but I thought GT's were 6500?

Mystery, maybe LS? Wheres Chris Czerial?

A 1275LS dash goes up to 160kph and has a 5500rpm red-line. It also has two extra warning lights in the top corners of the surround.

You mean in between the fuel and the water ?? there is no light there actually - just an illusion in this case.

Yeah it's redlined at 5500rpm though, ay?

My 1275 LS guages are 160kph and the tacho has redline at 5500.

The Marina used the same gauges and went to 200kph (who knows why). When I changed diffs from a 3.44 to a 2.9 I swapped the 200kph Marina faceplate onto the existing Mini gauge which then gave nearly the correct speed. The Marinas had three gauge clusters, but mostly had a clock instead of a tacho. I can't remember what the redline on the Marina tacho was.
