Hi guys, just looking to see if anyone would know if the paint on this mini is a standard colour or not. I think the shell is a very early 850 yma2s1. Going through some pics i have and can only see the white undercoat and pinkish,purple paint on it. thanks.

One of the minis on the front of the Gregory's Mini Manual is one of these. The other is an equally regrettable green.... |

The only info she could find on the plate was: Type: YMA251 Car No: 127423 17850 Lancaster Motors, William Street,Sydney Stock No: 72307 |

I don't remember any of the 850's being this lurid in colour. |

i (I mean my girlfriend  ) have a 73 clubman. It is pink. - Locomotive Pink - which was standard. However the paint badge has been riped off the car so I can't give you information on that.

The cross member under the seat is white as is bits of the floor. I had an escort a similar which was called wild mulberry. It was a vogue thing back then - a respray is my vote |
