Hi,

For the earlier (?) door hinges with the numbers 1-8, is someone able to tell me what numbers go where, in particular what numbers the upper drivers hinge should be?

I never knew they were numbered like that in early Mini's?

They were numbered funny, way back then.
It's easy to tell which is which though, I don't bother with the numbers-
the 2 with a very steep angle are the top ones, left and right are obvious.
The other 2 which have hardly any angle slope opposite to the top ones, ie the door slopes in at the bottom. So these are slightly thicker at their bottom edge.
