juz wondering is 1969 the yr of the last round noses made or was it 70's

what was the offical year?

Early '71 as far as I am aware. Can't tell you an exact date, but I think the clubby first came out in around May.

but i dont want to put it if the year is wrong, i know the model is right cause the k's were the last but juz the year

ok well i reckon that sums it up to that the mini k in 1969 was the last model made for the round noses and the last of the morris's

so does my sticker become valid or should i put

last of the round nose morris mini's

NO.
Did you read my post? the last roundnose in Australia (yes I know speedy, but Rover's don't count as they were not sold here new) was in 1971, before the clubman came out (Aug 71 according to the website speedy put up).

the mark 2 cooper s in 1971 was known as a Morris Cooper S, GHT's was probably called a Morris Mini K, even though the compant went through a number of name changes around this time (BMC, British Leyland, Leyland Australia etc).

Why don't you put "1969, it was good year!" or "miss freelove" :D

I would prefer that you didn't put a sticker in the back window.
The reason for having windows is so you can see out of the car.
You would feel bad if you backed your car into a post (or over a small child) because you couldn't see past the sticker. :cry:

I know that a lot of people have sticker on their windows but that does not make it right. :wink:

Do you stick things onto the TV screen? 8)

lol yeah but i can get see throught stickers made up and the way ive planned it on my car it shouldnt block my view, my mum owns a printing business so i can try a number of times or try once and see if it fits right

so what u guys are saying is that putting the sticker

'last of the round nose mini's' would make the sticker a lier?

No, it would make you a liar. :wink: :D

Considering that your car was not the last one, that there would have been about 25000 made in Sydney after your car, that would make you a liar.
Considering that yours is a 69 and they are visually different from a 71, that would make you a liar.
Considering that they made roundies till 2000, that also would make you a liar.
But apart from that...... :wink: :lol:


BTW, I still hate stickers on windows. :D
