it is possible, i have seen it done, but am unable to provide details the welding would ha to be done in really shor stints to stop panel warpage it would require the whole car to be resprayed, or alot of "blow ins" which would likely look cheap and dodgy. the whole exercise would be costly, which should also be taken into consideration. cheers |

So should I just keep looking round till I find a van with panels to avoid having a crappy looking ride that has obviously had this mod done? It just seems like I'll never find one at this rate... |

Solid side vans might look nice from outside, but are very claustrophobic to drive- rearward/side vision is woeful. I'd invest in some big truck mirrors, or keep the windows... ![]() |

I sold one without side windows last year, cos I couldn't bring myself to cut it to fit side windows and a rear seat conversion for my little tacker. Renewed incentive to get cracking on the Traveller I guess. ![]() |

I'd invest in some big truck mirrors, or keep the windows... ![]() Agreed. My van (comparatively) sucks to drive when it is carrying a load that blocks out the rear windows. |

I'm sure if you took yours out of the courier van you would get a view. |

no side windows is lethal in traffic, I nearly collected a few cars when changing lanes... BNicho was kind enough to give me some windows to put in ![]() (but it wasn't completely blind to start with, had silly little side windows at the back |

Thanks for all the great info guys, maybe i should reconsider looks over practicality/ safety. I want the van to be my daily and i already have enough issues with almost being wiped off the road whenever i jump on the R1 and i don't really want to be the one wiping others off the road coz of poor visibility. Perhaps I'll put the pano on the wish list for now. |
