I think you should donate it to someone that is restoring an original Mk1 Cooper S. That would be a nice thing to do and it would make you feel good.
I wonder if anyone around here has a Cooper S that needs one? Oh wait! thats right I need one.

I don't know what it is worth but it looks very nice.

If you start it for a dollar on eBay it will find the market price very quickly. I am always amazed that someone puts something on a a bargain dollar start.

I think "you beauty" and bid. Three days later its up with bids to what its worth.

Doesn't answer your question I know, but its all suplly and demand.

Those two 2 inch guages I got for 20 bucks at Mini's At The Mill last year after lunch, no one seemed interested in offering the bloke any money 'casue they assumed he was going to be overpriced.

Starting bid of $50 on ebay should ensure you get at least that much for it.
Probably go for more than double that.

I will take awild stab and say....hmmmmm........250 to 300 (conservative mind you, some people really go nuts when this stuff pops up).

These things don't grow on trees as a complete unit w/ voltage reg and all the other bits.

Brought one in from the UK a few years back for a 997 Cooper (100 MPH) for 75 bucks. That was a bargain.

Yikes!

I just looked up the new prices, $120 jsut for the facia and chrome bezel! New speedo $330, 2inch gauges $105 each.

I was offered the black face and chrome strip (non-genuine I believe) for $50 from a mini and rover car specialist.

$300 is sounding like a good deal now.

I'm not sure that they make repro early MK1 binnacles (with the 4 screws) so it'd be pretty rare.

i agree with morris 1100, i wouldnt sell it, I have been giving stuff away lately and it does make you feel good, so long as the person you give it to wont flog it off later for a quick profit. im giving my mini k shell to sports 850 soon. i've also given away steering wheels and bages.
but value wise i'd say its worth about $300 or more :)

Correct, I didn't see that, the re-pro pne has no screws. Possibly they may make one but it isn't on the minisport website but I doubt.
