Hi All, its about time i update you on my mini, I have all but finally finished fitting the intercooler to the mini. see the series of pics below, have not got the EDIS ignition totally sorted yet so i cant quote any intake temp figures yet but before the cooler the intake temp was getting to 110 degrees on 13psi so i knew it was time to act on the cooler install. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I've seen some stuff on turbominis that you wouldn't think would fit but does JUST, if you take out the reinforcement for the bonnet. It'll be interesting to see it all does fit. |

hanra, do you think i would go to this trouble not knowing if it would fit under the bonnet? it all fits easy without any mods to the reinforceing too. as for the hammer, as you said you just never know lol. Grant |

Good one then... Well ya just dont know... I was only just reading a story about a guy who was doing up a kingswood for the summernats, he didnt like the dimpled sections in the inner guards, so he filled them in so it was nice and smooth, then once the front end was all fitted up, he went to close the bonnet and smashed the bonnet hinges into the freshly smoothed guards..... The dimpled section is there to give clearance for the bonnet hinges... |

Hi, Looks good, very neat. I have just purchased a Metro Turbo T3 kit with a similar intercooler, so I am very interested in your setup as I think mine will be similar? 1275LS waiting for my other mini resto projects to be completed before I can start the Turbo resto and build. What happens with the brake booster ![]() |
