man this juz doesnt want to work for me, i got tiny back from the suspension place beautiful work but them but now the carby is playing up, this morning she was splattering again and when it came time to show my tech teacher who use to own a mini it didnt do it anymore... :( so then we pulled apart the carby check the float and the needle and the oil and seemed fine, we adjusted the timing and fixed the mixtures up according to the computer we have at the tafe and put her on the dyno, tiny pulled 20kws :( wasnt nice to have everyone laugh but to make things worse he had no power all way home.

anyone got any suggestions? otherwise back to mini king ( glen fitted the carby for me that day and tuned it)

20KW is about 27hp which is not too bad for a stock 1098...

My suggestion-check your fuel delivery, sounds like fuel starvation.
(blocked filter, fuel pump out to lunch.................)
Sometimes the odds are against you. My S once sufferred from a similar problem. The fuel pipe was squashed at the corner near the rea sub-frame - slow driving was fine, but at higher speed, the rate of delivery had a significant effect on performance.......

hmmmm maybe, but it only does it sometimes, fuel filter juz been replaced today, pumps working well... actually maybe to well cause it fills the filter rapidly then floods the carby causing fuel to out the float bowl
