hi all i'm going to put a a/c system in my mini. it's one of those ones that bolts under the dash. and because most of us are drivers this may be a tricky one, but does it get in the way of the passengers legs?? yes, searched the forum, but no one has said anything about losing leg space.....i can see the puns about someone losing their legs or there being heaps of space due to being a midget/dwarf/vertically challenged/dog/tortoise...etc cheers |

I've got the underdash system, and there is no problem with leg space being lost as it sits above the passenger's upper shin / lower knee area. If you are 6ft+ then it might be a problem, but then again the whole rest of car might also be a bit tight. ![]() |

You don't expect him to have to run a power cord do you? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It is a good bit of creative engineering. I love the way that he has sealed the window hole with expanding foam. ![]() |

You can have both, the underdash A/C with the dash that has vents higher up. Just need to find the right dash. ![]() |
