Super cheap auto sell a purolator "Posi-flow" universal pump. Its the same price as the cube type metal purolator pump everywhere elase and the Purolator \ Facet catalog lists it as "A new state of the art design, replacing the older cube-style solid state pump in all applications", but supercheap are the only ones who stock the posi-flow pump.
Its about the same size as the cube type, slightly different shape and made of plastic.

Has anyone had any experience with these pumps?

Oh and would it be ok to use the purolator supplied metal fuel filter (you know the one it looks like a no return valve) before the pump (I still have a disposable filter before the carby) - should the metal filter ever be serviced and/or cleaned?
