I know you can buy the parts to rebuild them. But can you buy a gearbox thats all brand new in a case ready to bolt on.

My guess is that you'd have to get one built up from new parts. It would be pretty expensive just to have one sitting around on the shelf in the hope that someone with very deep pockets wanders in to buy it. As far as I know all the parts required are still available (as long as its a late model rod change).

Some place's have rebuilt Box's..just it's a question how good they are.
Buy from a reconised Mini Dealer and you should get good Service from them if something is not rite ...Ask if thier is a Warenty or what is required.

Otherwise get one rebuit to your requirements..

Also ask about your Diff requirements for your engine and what you will be Using it for...
