Big job unless you want something that look shite!

Roof line needs to be lowered where it terminates behind driver. (requires longitudinal slitting)
Rear corners need to be sat up to verticle as van are tilted forward. (slit down side panel, set metal insert more panel to fill)
etc
etc

KEEP the VAN, Import a ute

I suppose it'll just make my van more valuable.

Finally when he botches it, I'll let him deliver it to me and I'll take it for free.

Ive tried to tell him to keep it as a van but he has got stuck in his mind that is going to turn it into a ute.He has got the skills to do it he has done jobs like this before on other makes of cars and trucks.Utes over here in nz are a little harder to find and he likes working in his shed to get away from his wife i think this is a good reason for him to be in his shed

if your gonna cut up a mini and its not to fit a rust bucket into a skip bin make it a really unique.

a hatch back mini would be cool, i was looking at it yesterday and if i braced and re inforced the rear, cut the seats and rear firewall out and cut off the back and hinged it,

my $0.002
