I know it's a Moke but can someone tell me if that is the original motor for the car... I didn't think Mokes had pollution gear on them??

Oooh, good to see the afficionados developing a taste for the ashtrays with an engine. :) Is that sound deadening under the bonnet :?: :?:

I'm jealous of that cover. :)

That Moke looks mostly stock. I can't believe it still has the pollution gear!

The front bull bar is the later type while the rear is the earlier. Being December 78, it could just be a change-over thing.

I'd say it has had a new front panel at some time due to the missing fabric bonnet closing surface. Like mine, the panel with the slotted holes is too fiddly to replicate when replacing front panels so you end up with the rubber donuts as seen here.

Car is advertised as having dsics which is nice. They wouldn't have been on it from new.

That roll bar locates the seat belt anchorages a long way back. A bit of a PITA to reach behind to get the belt.

Nice top.

M

I went and had a look today, it needs a tidy up and from what I could gather they have had a lot of interest, it was up first at 7pm.

We couldn't get there for the auction but would be interested to see how much it goes for.
