Well... i've decided that i'll drive up in my fathers Falcon Wagon as i'll be leaving late Friday (7pmish). It's got lights that aren't candles, comfy seats, cruise, aircon, heater that works, sits at 110km/h @ 2,000rpm, whitta will sleep and not annoy me because it's quiet and comfy.

I realise the cons for taking the Falcon are... It's a Falcon, it's the Mini nationals, it's not a Mini, i'd look like a douche turning up in a Falcon, it's boring.

Talk me into taking the Mini!

You know you'll get there and see all the minis and wish you had brought yours.
And whitta will complain about you cramping his style with the falcon.

Done, you're taking the mini.

Take the falcon and put the mini on a trailer, tow the trailer with the falcon. Park the falcon and trailer around the corner. Unload the mini, then show up at the front gate in the mini. All pros with that one!

It's not far from Melb.
If people can drive their Minis/Mokes from Adelaide and Sydney to Melb, u can drive from Melb to Hay

edit: do you have intentions of racing?

1) You are SOFT! I've driven there two or three times in a Mini. I don't mind it, but Sarah prefers a comfortable trip.

2) Borrow my car trailer. I'm not going. At least if you go in the Khana (which you will ) and you break something (which you may) you can get it home easily.

Cheers,

getting there in a Mini is half the fun!
A few years back I did a 7,000 north Queensland trip in my Mini S. The best time that I'd had in a long while. I must admit I could only handle about 4 or 5 ours driving per day. My bad back wasn't too keen.

There was a guy in a Rolla ripping the Hay dirt flats up when I was there. He was having a ball  So you could drive the Falcoon there, sleep in it,then chuck some donuts on the flats, get it dirty(muddy if wet),drive it to the Hall Sunday night-get pissed have a great time, stagger out front, fall down the stairs out front and crawl into the back seat and fall asleep
Or you could drive the Mini
