Hey all.
Bought myself another van on the weekend. A clubby this time.
I'll post pickies later. The question i have is in relation to engine numbers.
All my other minis have engine numbers like : 12y/Ta/h8591 : 10y/Ia/H33899 and the like. But this little fella has a 1015/5734 ? Im assuming its a 1098 or some 1000cc variant, but i reformated the pc last weekend and didn't save my favorites. so i dant know where i have checked numbers before. anyone got anyidea on cc'age of the motor or a good site for numbers?

1015 is a Clubman 1098cc motor. Probably circa 1972/3

About the time that the Clubman came out Leyland Australia decided to change the engine prefixes to something more simple.
So the first two digits relate to the engine size, 10 = 1098, 12 = 1275.
The second two digits relate to the spec of the engine. (1000, 1001, 1002, etc.) After a while they got sick of stamping a different code on every different engine so they just stuck 1015 on all of them.
