hey guys
the only thing left in my car that needs fixxing is my seats, the front seats are out of a skyline, the drivers side has a plate welded to the bottom of the original mounting brackets, the passenger has just got 2 bolts going straight through the X member in the floor,

if i weld a bracket on the the passenger seat so it copies the drivers side seat, then both my seats will have the exact same functions as the original seat, but would it need engineering because of the fact that it is modified,

if anyone has any old seats from a mini that i could rent or buy pm us. they dont need to be in top cond, its only to get the car past blue slip.
cheers

Seats
Owners should ensure that the seat and its anchorages comply with any applicable ADR requirements (possibly by certification from the seat manufacturer or by an engineering signatory) and the appropriate seat belts are fitted to all seating positions.

Vehicle Standards Bulletin No. 5 issued by DOTARS covers requirements for the manufacture of additional seats.
