hey i was just wondering if the mini clubman grill was metal,tin or is it plastic with crome on top of it thanks and can you buff them to give it a nicer look??

It's metal , I've always assumed a form of Anodised Aluminium as they don't rust but do corrode like aluminium .

ive striped al the paint off of it and its a real nice crome but is got big srachs al over it i thoght of buffing it the sparing the fines with a gloss black??

I thikn they look vest, when you paint strip them and polish them up, they are not really reflective but very bright. So I'd assume, as said above anodised aluminium.

Very 70s I reckon, 60s was chrome grille, but 70s was alluminium alloy grille time!

I bought a second hand one and gave it a couple of really good polishes, they do come up really well.
