Post subject: | Rubber Cones ....? |
Is it a common occurance for rubber cones to go Hard over time, I have just replace some quite squashed ones in my 76 clubman, along with adjusta rides, and one side is much higher than the other. The adjusta rides are at their lowest setting and the car is sitting rediculously high, well not rediculously, just quite higher than normal. I have another cone to change it out with but haven't got round to it yet. Cheers |

I am sorry I meant to say that I replace my old squashed ones with some second hand not squashed looking ones... if that makes any more sense? |

if you get good second hand rears (which is what I did), don't use the ones without the threaded hole in the middle. You won't be able to remove them with a compressor. The rears cop much less abuse, and over time dont squash out of shape. All rubber goes hard over time. |
