It has always been my understanding that 4-synchro remote boxes from Mini K's, MkII S's and early Clubmans were 22G1128 castings.
So, what is a 22G846 casting from?
Gearbox has standard ratios and the casting seems to be very smooth internally (compared to a 22G1128 or rod change 'box).

Some had the 22g846 casting, most had the 22g1128
