Karcraft sells stuff that looks and smells like the original. Comes in 4L or 20L.
Penrite used to make it here, their recipe is just 33% ethylene glycol, the balance distilled water.

Hydro fluid is an antifreeze/water/alcohol mix from the factory. Many people make their own with a 50/50 water and antifreeze mix and arguably see no difference. Otherwise the mini suppliers will provide you with the fluid or usually asnyone who provides the pump ups. The right antifreeze provides corrosion resistance as well. There's a few threads on here with the home made recipes somewhere. |

I bought a 4L tin from Karcraft ages ago. Have topped up 2 cars with it (thanks Kev )
It looks like coolant. When I drained my GT (Reg), what came out resembled OIL! It even smelt like Linseed oil. |
