Don`t know what you think, but it`s the uglyest Cooper i`ve ever seen...
12"s, metalic rover-paint (MPI monza-blue...?)... mmmmh

And... engine: 997cc, Cooper S, 1990 engine...?
Would be interesting to know the VIN-number...

I did see a genuine Cooper S with a 1300auto motor and box in the early 80's.
He blew up his Cooper S motor and his wife rolled the Morris 1300auto so what else could he do!

Bit of trivia here.
BMC made a one off auto 1275 Cooper 'S' IIRC for former NZ formula 1 driver Chris Amon back in the 60's.

There was a Cooper S at Hay a couple of years back. It was a pale blue with a white roof and was an automatic.
I think it belonged to a person who owned a mini specialist shop or spares place in Melbourne.
Smallish man with a beard - no not me smart alecs.

The S looked very much like the real thing but could have been a good replica

Wasn't Enzo Ferrari's cooper s an auto as well ? These pics don't show enough detail to see but I think the story was he sent back the first one as it wasn't auto ????
