My mate just picked up a clubman and when the key is in the accessories postion the gauges and warning lights light up but no power to the coil.
And when the key is in the on postion everything works as it should as well as having power to the coil.
Is this normal for a clubman or not? I have never had a clubman so would not know myself.
Cheers Pete

Normal.

The 1275LS has extra warning lights. When you are at the drive in with the key on accessories to pick up the sound through the radio the inside of the car is lit up like a christmas tree! I used to cover the dash with a towel to keep the lights down to a reasonable level. :D
