I was going through the shed today looking for stuff to get rid of. I found a 29D Clubman GT dizzy. Took the cap off and it has a Luminition Magnetronic module in it. I know nothing about this type of electronic ignition. Anyone know about this brand of electronic ignition? I googled this: http://www.ahspares.co.uk/products/LUMI ... LI199.aspx Looks like it doesn't need a module unit out of the dizzy. Is that right? |

Anton, I've not used one but I believe they are self-contained, like the Pertronix Ignitor is. |

Yep they are good - set and forget like the others. Just makes sure you retime after you install as the the timing can change slightly. |

Cheers guys. So this replaces the points and condensor? What coil do I use? The one that was with this dizzy is a BOSCH, and on the bottom it says GMH - Use With Resistor |
