Gday All
An old mate of mine found a set of door hinges off a mini he used to own years ago in the back of his shed and gave them to me. He didnt shed much light on them other than they were fitted to a old 61 850 that he had in the uk and took them off when the car was written off. Im a bit puzzled by them as they are made in the same way as the std doorhinges but are made out of brass all four have individual casting numbers on them
6818 QA1
6819 LHT EW
6820 QA5
6821 QA7
Are these just what the hinges were on early 850s in the uk or just ones that have been made up? Has anyone seen tham before

Very early UK cars had these. Never seen them on an Oz Mini, ours are all cast iron. And ours BREAK in a good accident... burstproof Clubby doorlocks notwitstanding.
