Wind up?

If so, good drivers door handles are getting rare! Passenger seems to be alright to find. The drivers are prone to key barrel seizing, so they don't lock. Getting keys is easy, Newport motors have most if not all keys ready to be cut.

To test if the lock is seized, put any key in the end, just the tip, it if can be wiggled back and forth (turned slightely) it's alright, it it's sold find another or attempt to lube it.

I'm not sure how easy replacement barrels are, but the Aussie wind ups are not made new, never seen them at least.

UK Mk1/2 barrels do fit into the Oz doors with conventional handles, either slider or windup..
If you buy the ignition barrel too like i did, make sure U get the same key number, mine are 1 digit off!! :?
