Took the car for its first 30mph emergency stop test before I send it off for blue slip - soon I hope - just need seatbelts and a a washer bottle

Stomped the [edal and the brake pipe from the master to union seperated at the pipe connection. Not only did it fire brake fluid everywhere it left me with no brakes -  The pipe came clean out if screwie end bit. - not going back to that pipe guy again.

I bit of handbraking, gear chnaging and going around in circles got me to stop.

So thats one more thing I have to add to the list.

Two steps forward etc

Been there , done that but it was a corrosion problem , took the moke in for a rego check and the guy said "put your foot on the brake" to check the brake light's , "put your foot on again and hold it on" , "I can't , my foot sank almost to the floor" .... Pipe from the splitter block (whatever it's called) on the front subframe to where it joins the right front hose had let go with a rust hole   , we looked at the pipe , then each other , then the pipe and both swore in unison .

Nup - If I come up my one way street the wrong way @ 30mph, take my foot off the gas about 10metres before my garage and turn right with the handbrake it stops approx 30 cm from the end wall of my garage.

tested many times - once the dog was in the way  so I had to use the foot brake

Tried it in the Jag once - didnt make it - went straight through the plasterboard wall into the garage bathroom
