Going to Hay , can't fit all your gear into your mini , you need a minatic trailer ... Pic borrowed from Stuart on the IMMCC board and further info from Bart (aka racing green here) . Who thought 5th wheel trailers were a recent creation ![]() ![]() rasing green wrote: I've got a copy of the brochure and know a Dutchmen who owns 2 of these, none other are known to have survived. He pulls it behind a Morris Minor, the Minatic was designed to fit on the Minor pick-up and mini pick-up.
Here's where you might recognise it from: http://www.traffic-modelcars.com/minimo ... 3-2003.htm They did come as Minatic 7, 9 and 11, difference being the length. The one BMC calls a Minatic 7 actualy is a 9. The hardtops as on the yellow one can be seen on shows, it had something to do with Landrover but I can't quiet remember what exactly. Edit - fixed link ... |

I'm wondering how it would handle with a load of furniture on board , even light stuff considerring how far back thetrailer wheels are and how big the storage area is over the goose neck connection . Lot of weight in the middle of the utes load area that's have to pick the nose up . Still , it's probably the best it could be but surely not suited for a full load . |

If you had the load far enough back you wouldnt have that much load on the ute tray. I would be more worried about the brakes. |

That's a given , imagine the combined weight of trailer , cast iron bed frames , a club lounge and various cutlery , crockery , manchester and clothes pushing on mini brakes .... |
