No, just use long pliers / wire / silver foil in ring spanner!

Often need to wiggle mounting through hole with spike / screwdriver to line em up, this would damage threads on welded on nuts anyway.

My thoughts! :P

Take a small square of foil and put it on the head of the bolt, push the bolt (with foil) into a long ring spanner, the foil will be enough to grip the head of the bolt and allow you to feed it up between the subframe and the motor and manouvre it into the hole.

You have to line up hole first though. Also always bolt from inside, nut (and spring washer) on outside.

Others use very long nosed pliers to acheoive the same thing! 8)

I've welded nuts inside all my engine mounts since 1965, I'm not stopping now!! :lol: Works for me....8)
