Post subject:  Fusor Product ?
Hello. I am about to replace the front valence and the rear bever on the mini and was thinking about gluing them using Fusor product. Is anyone of you has used this before? Is it stong enough? I have been told that it's as strong as a weld :shock:

Also my new front valence (clubman) seem odd. The hole for the sub frame dont seem to be at the same place. It is supposed to be a "heritage" panel and fit perfectly. I bought it from a shop i dont trust. Is all those front valence are the same or is there different model?

I don't know of that product by name but I'd say get them spot welded on to be sure , pop the mini onto a trailer and go visit a panel shop with everything prepared and get them to run around it with a spot welder if you haven't got access to one at home . Either that or ask for someone on here to bring one around with the offer of alcohol , always welcome to most mini people .

3m make a product called panel bond,

its the same sorta thing, with the 3m stuff you get a certificate guaranteeeing the life of the product

If the front panel is a Heritage part it's probably for the 76 on UK rubber mounted subframe. They are a bit different at the front as you've found.

Will i be able to fit it on a 72 clubman?

I have one fitted to my 78 Clubman - you will need to get the half inch or so rubber spacers for the front to mount the subframe as the later cars were rubber mounted :)
