Anybody remember exactly where in Robertson (southern highlands, NSW) the old hillclimb was?
It was still in use back in the 70's.
It would be nice to see it (again) during the southern highlands run coming up.

Sheesh Doc....that was back in the 1930s....do not go past the Pie Shop  and look out for Babe.

To the south of the main road there appears to be some sort of race track....

I've emailed theRobertson tourist info office for you Kev , this is the reply so far and I've clarified that it is the car hill climb track I'm asking for . I'll let you know when I get an answer ....

Well , this will probably only add to the confusion then but this is the reply from the tourist center , have a look at a map and then chack out the road while you're there , see if it's familiar .

Dear Ian

They don't do the Hill Climb any more and remembering back it was actually held on Range Road at the Tourist Road end.

Hope that this is of some help.

Regards
Heather Vickery

Ian/Kev...that would put the Hillclimb around 20 clicks from Robertson closer to Glenquarry on the way to Mittagong.

Doc,
Ridge Rd and Tourist Rd are part of the run.so we could look at figuring it out on the day or if you want to check it earlier and we could then take a look when we get there.
From what I saw it would be a perfect place fo it.
