Post subject: | Lights problem |
Doing some work on the interior of the mini, and accidently turned the lights on. Noticed the gauge lights didn't come on. So i turned it to headlights, they worked, no gauge lights. Turned to high beam, the high beam worked, still no gauge lights. Turned back to normal headlights, no lights at all. H beam still works. I have Halogen lights with a NEW ERA relay. Apart from taking to a sparky, what do i check? Cheers Matt |

i had a similar problem, lights fine, but for some reason my gauge lites didnt work. used the light from my phone to check everyhting every couple of minutes. but the problerm has rectified itslef, plus i ahve my interior lioght and horn back... so my suggestion is - don't check anything, it will be right ![]() |

Could possibly be a fuse going on the blink...? |

No, they're not particularly cunning these ones. They feed off the park lights connection on the back of the light switch so check the connection there, and they earth in the back of the instruments for a centre speedo, not sure on the clubby. |

Thanks everyone, I did the round of checking all the wires etc, and found a loose connection. I have a switch to turn the gauge lights off for stealth mode. I haven't used it for years and now basically use it as a junction box. This had a wire knocked off. Fixed it up and it is all good! Seemed bad at 2am this morning!! Cheers Matt |
