Post subject: | Brake Vibration |
Hey everyone Drove the mini today to work and I'm getting a vibration feel on the brake pedal when I brake so something wrong with my brake system, theres no noises. Checked the pads and there's still heaps of meat left. Only noticed it happening when braking/depressing the brake. It feels like when you have a worn out tie rod end. Please advice? Is it safe to drive 30 klms (return) tomorrow for the Mini Muster? |

I think so, so ill measure these and he will know what they are like. If I recall, they were fine (GR said, use em) but I bought new rotors, CVs and flanges so these are spare - and taking space in the garage. If he only needs one, he can have a spare ![]() Pete. |

Ok, going in the cold, cold, garage now, be back shortly with pics and measurements. Man that pasta was good. Dude, I went to Coles near our house and they had NO (ZERO, NONE, ZIP, NADA) garlic bread!! They had every other bread there but no garlic.. so we made ![]() Be back soon... im also 'keeping an eye on the kid' while the mrs does something, so its a risky mission... soon as I go, he'll destroy the living room (which is now his play area) Wish me luck. Pete. |

Ok, Here are the pics. ![]() ![]() ![]() This one has been machined before. ![]() mmm, nice numbers. (Was just playing with the camera) ![]() Now for the measurements... with the trusy ruler and I measured twice... as best I could. 8.5 mm for the one thats already been machined (assume 8 to be sure) 9 mm for the other one (assume 8.5 to be sure) Whats that in inches? Cheers, Pete. |

i hate prebought garlic bread. they put salt in the butter to disguise the insufficient garlic. i love making my own! |
