just started removing the clubby front off my convertable today , took the strip off the sides and have started to drill spot welds out, what i would like to know is

recommended drill bit size in mm

have most people helped prize the panels apart around the welds or does it just come quite loose once all welds are drilled out

cheers Paul

As small as possible to break the spot weld (say about an 1/8th) and so that you can lever the panels gently apart.

There is a special drill bit you can get with a flat bottom.

You can buy a special spot weld drill for around $2o.
