Have a 1100 cc motor I wanna get rebuilt out of my Clubman, its no power house but tired and like to see it freshened up thinking rings might need doing, whats the best way to go,

engine rebuild aren't cheap. $3kish will get you a motor thats gonna be right for another 50-100k dependant on driving style. with that you will be able to have a few performance mods, but even without performance mods to do it right it'll cost you $3k. if you get it cheaper your getting mates rates as it'll set you back 1k in parts, if not more. anything less is a quick fix and it'll still cost you the same money again in 12 months time
