Does anybody have a simple diagram on the location of the various vacuum and pressure hoses on turbo carby. Also a diagram or photo detailing the carby and each hose purpose? I am working on a blow through supercharger set up using a metro turbo carby. thanks |

There was a thread a while back, by Poeee I think, asking about the differences between HIF44 and turbo IF44, it had a pic that did just that in it. Didn't save the pic though, sorry, you'll have to search or hope someone saved it. |

sorry i dont have a pic now but can post one up off my car if you like. there is 2 brass colour pipes which come out the side of the car, (if carb on engine these pipes are on the drivers side) the rear most is the fuel supply line from tank, the other pipe needs to be blocked off if you are not using the factory metro boost regulations system (better of to throw it) ther is one pipe near the "bell" of the carb which has a hose running to the front of the carb this is a the balance pipe from float chamber to the carb venturi. then you have one very small outlet on the passerngers side front of the carb this is for vacc advance on the dizzy. if you have the metro trubo plenum then there is one more brass pipe off it on the drivers side of the carb, this is used for the rising rate fuel pressure regulator vacuum point. hope this helps |
