I am currently in the process of starting a new project. I have a bare shell and all the bits. My question is What is the correct order of reassembly? I know a big question and a bit ambiguous. What are your thoughts? ![]() |

I'm sure you'll get countless versions of how to do it but I'd say Bodywork and paint Wiring Subframe , suspension and brakes Engine etc in from the top (personal preference) Interior trim Glass |

Bodywork and paint Wiring Subframe , suspension and brakes Engine etc in from the top (personal preference) Interior trim Glass Sounds like a sensible start - I'd suggest you try and mimic the production line process as much as possilbe. You might have to work around the fact that the subframe, running gear and engine were probably assembled seperatly and joined to the body later in the 'line'. But as a rule always leave the trim and windows last. ![]() |
