Heh guys,
I was looking to borrow a trailer during the school holidays to collect my little green 850 from Brewarrina.
It would be a 2 day affair out of Sydney on the first or second weekend of the upcoming school holidays.
I can now use my neighbour's trailer but it is so big you could fit 2 minis on it.
Was hoping for something a little smaller.
Cheers

I just did 1200 k's in one day melbourne-canberra-melbourne) with a kennards rental car trailer. Geez they're heavy, but they are pretty nice to use. Beauty was that if the trailer dropped it's guts on the road, it would be up to kennards to see it fixed.

I wonder if i would have gotten it for 70 bucks if they new i was gonna flog it up the Hume and back?

Thanks Mick.

I didnt know how much they were to hire. I think its probably better to hire one at that rate than to borrow one to do the kms I need to do. Does anyone know where I might be able to hire a smaller trailer and/or would a large double axle box trailer do the job ?
Thanks in advance
Matt

Kennards (although a bit more expensive) or Coates (70 bucks for sat and sunday to monday too if they don't open on sunday). Mobils often have trailers as well. That way as they're national, you won't have a problem if it drops it's guts.

Best thing about dual axle, is that if it drops a wheel, or stuffs a wheel bearing, you can undo the nuts and throw it in the back and make do with the remaining wheel till the next stop or go home on the one.
