Had the practice round for the Townsville Sprints on Saturday. Was a great day, learnt alot about the track, etc etc. Started off with 60.2 secs, then by the end of the day I had it down to 53.8's!
Very proud of myself and Merlin!
The track record is held by a r33 Skyline GTR at 40.3, my Rob holds second with 41.2 in our Evo so I think I did very well considering! Will keep you posted with the results and some pics when I get my hands on some.
1st round is in April, cant wait!

Glad to see some older FWD cars are keeping the new 4WD cars honest. i'm sure you'll get faster with more practice. Most important thing is that your having fun.

Robbie had one printed and framed beautifully for my birthday yesterday! (he also proposed and gave me a gorgeous diamond ring!)

CONGRATULATIONS AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Great times in comparison to the R33 GTR and Evo. can we get a look under the bonnet? I'd love to see the engine bay. The car looks awesome, I'm sure with practice you'll get the times your hoping for.

Yes, Merlin used to be airbrushed on the front but over heating problems saw us put a bonnet scope on. So we bought a second bonnet and painted it, the airbrushed one is hanging in Dads garage!
The engine bay is a shambles! needs a good clean!
The circuit is the go-cart track outta town
cant wait for round two!

Round one of the Townsville Sprints. Great day with lots of cars!

Merlin and I came 1st in Class! Best time of 52.48! Very proud! Here are 2 photos from the day!
