Woohoo...

Re-registered astro last night after, using the powers bestowed upon me by the South Australian State government, issuing a roadworthy certificate.

:P

My god it's fun barrelling down the hill, utterly un-aerodynamically through the fog at 6:30am.

Sensational...

Or, as the BMC Marketing department so accurately put it...

the only thing i did notice is that i found myself thinking that one of these might be a good idea...

but hey... i had 2 jumpers on... i was fine...

The best thing I used to do with 850s was mod and bore the block for a new 1098 crank, rods and pistons... :P
It give the 850 the 2 things it's missing- torque and power. 8)

well i wouldnt spend any money if i went the 850 route, i've got a nice 850 here that just needs a 2nd gear synchro, and the one thats in the car is unknown.. once im done with my 1360 i'll whip out the "start ya bastard" and see if i can get her to crank over.
if i do run an 850 i will cannibalise a 12g202 and probably some old cooper headers and a single hs4, that should go arrite.
or i run my screamer 69ci stroker smallblock

i'll wait and see if anyone else runs an 850 i reckon
