According to Parnell's `Original Mini Cooper' book, ALL Mk2 Oz S's originally had ALL BLACK interior trim.
I dunno if he's right, but my Mk1-1/2 S certainly did....

Blue Parchment Red Green Hope this helps, looking through my records, some years old now, the main trim colour was black, so it is always great to see another colour. |

So how common were other trim colours? My last Mk2 was purchased with a red interior (On a red car) but I assumed it had been swapped? My current red Cooper has a blue interior, I don't think it came with that however at a guess...... |

for instance mick Bordeaux Red had red trim, but they also came with parchment need an age of cars too looking at records, mate you will have to forgive me, been easy 10 years since had books out, lucky had them out look for information on Police cars and numbers, Mk 2 Cop cars, seen new magazine today what a great read Monte |

Out of interest Monte, what colour interior should a Cadet blue MkII S have had (late 1970)? And what about carpet - did all MkII's have black carpet? |
