Hey, i'm just wondering if wheel adaptors like these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsche- ... enameZWD2V are legal to use in QLD. or if it's possible to get them engineered? does anyone run anything similar to these? legal or illegal? Cheers, Cameron |

In SA, no... they're spacers, and spacers are illegal and potentially dangerous |

this has been discussed recently, the verdict is: don't bother, buy a set of spaced drums instead. |

the main reason i am interested in these is to change the PCD, because i could get a set of these made cheaper than re-drilling a set of wheels. |

yeah, not sure about legality in Qld myself, not the absolute safest option I wouldn't have thought, but I suppose not as bad as some. |

That type are commonly used on 4WDs with BIG wheels. I saw some at Big Balls Motorsport (there's a name!!) ![]() Mr Salesman said "noooooooooo, not road legal". Were being sold under sign `for off-road use only'..... yeah, right.... nudge nudge, ![]() ![]() |

Na-uh, not in QLD. I don't think that you could get them engineered BUT I don't know for sure. You may want to go and talk to an engineer and find out but I highly doubt that he would sign off on something like that. |
