Anyone able to give me information on the country of origin of a clubman with a body number of

D20S/06372/A

Other features of the car are a 1275 motor 12Y/TaH/3042, hardy spicer unis, and 7.5" disk brakes.

It once had fresh air vents either side of the dash. The rear side windows are fixed and larger than a normal mini. The doors are fitted with internal door hinges, english style locking mechanism, wind up window, no quarter glass. The boot is also english, no swinging plate for number plate and large colour coded number plate light. It also has the larger 34 litre fuel tank. Runs on dry suspension. The front wiper scuttle panel is punched for either LH or RH wipers. Three gauge set with 160 kph speedo. My searches have yielded little information so anything will be really appreciated :D .

Will post pics once I get it home.

Sounds like a UK car to me, built for export.
Definitely not Oz if it has the larger rear side windows.

The motor is out of an Australian Morris 1100S.
I don't know what the car is though. Sounds Pommy. 8)

I would go for a Seth Efrican car. All the UK And NZ clubmans had 8.4" discs.

Thanks all, my view was that it is probably Seth Efrican. I knew the motor was most likely from an Aus 1100S but will have to check myself for the size of disks. Bit hard to check everything at night. At least it is now mine since my offer was accepted. Next step will be to check out Matt Reads BMW head mod.
